The Reds will attempt to put that debacle last night behind them by taking the field in frosty Pittsburgh tonight. It really can’t go much worse than it did last night, of course, but never say never...
Romano was solid in his first outing of the season, despite it being another Reds loss.
All-in-all, it’s not really been the pitching that’s been the problem (outside of Yovani Gallardo, of course). If the Reds are to have any chance of winning anything this season, the bats are going to have to turn it around, and in a hurry.

Other Notes
- Looks like Phillip Ervin will get his shot in CF with Billy’s day off today.
- I miss Scott Schebler, but it seems all but certain he’s going to be the first Red this season to get the patented “sit on the bench hurt for around ten days without actually going on the 10-day DL” move by this team.
- Gosh, I really would like for the Reds to win today.
- The forecast in Pittsburgh is crap again. Game time temperatures will be under 40 degrees. Again.
Go Reds.
