After a 3-15 start, the Reds have given Bryan Price the boot, along with his pitching coach.

Price exits his post with a .419 winning percentage in just over 4 seasons as the Reds’ manager. Also leaving is Mack Jenkins, who replaced Mark Riggins in July of 2016.

Jim Riggleman is the new interim manager, which he was in a prime spot for as the bench coach with previous MLB managerial experience. How long he stays in that role is anyone’s guess, but the Reds have a few permanent options within right now. Former Red Sox skipper John Farrell was brought into the scouting department in the offseason, and roving instructor Barry Larkin would be a fan favorite in the role and has expressed interest in it.

More as we have it.
