A day after seeing their bats finally wake up, the Cincinnati Reds were shutout 2-0 by the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they’ll have a chance to pick up a series victory for the first time all season, and Tyler Mahle will be on the mound to lead the way.
Cliff Pennington and Phil Gosselin are both out of the lineup today, surprisingly.
First pitch is set for 11:40 PM ET, and since there’s an off-day on Thursday, you should probably find a way to watch this one - especially since Mahle’s about to throw some rocks.

Other Notes
- Christian Yelich is back in the Milwaukee lineup after missing some two weeks with an oblique injury. He’s rather good at baseball, in case you’ve never heard every third word I’ve said over the last six years.
- The latest player update on Rotoworld’s Cliff Pennington profile will make you either snarf, fall out of your chair, or fall out of your chair snarfing.
- Go Reds.
