Reds at Brewers: Game 2 preview and lineups

MLB: Cincinnati Reds at Milwaukee Brewers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Hey everyone the Reds won a baseball game yesterday weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Every great historied team has its origin story and thus begins our Reds.

The reprise will feature Sal Romano, who stands six-foot fifty and showers in gasoline. Sal hasn’t been all that sharp so far this season, as he has walked more batters than he has struck out in his three starts.

The Brewers will counter with the ironically named Junior Guerra, who is neither young nor particularly war-like. He was the Brewers’ Opening Day starter last season but began this one down in AAA. He made his debut last week and was decent. He has pitched just 17 innings against the Reds so far in his career and has given up five home runs. So here’s hopin’.

Other Notes

  • Adam Duvall has walloped two home rangoes against Guerra in just nine career at-bats. So you might wanna look up when he comes to the plate today.
  • Also, another Adam Duvall note! After a putrid start to the season, he is 7-for-16 in his last four games, with three doubles and a home run.
  • The Bats’ series in Buffalo with the Bisons has been cancelled because of the snow. In the middle of April. I hate this country so much.
