Luis Castillo’s 2018 season hasn’t exactly started the way any of us expected it to, what with 10 ER in his 10 IP and ugly losses in his first pair of starts. He’ll get a chance to put that rough patch in the rear-view mirror on Wednesday, as he’ll take the mound against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Cincinnati Reds offense will face righty Nick Pivetta, who is fresh off fanning 9 Miami Marlins in 5.2 IP in a start last week.
The Reds should really, really go. Go Reds. They’re so much better when they’re going.
First pitch is again set for 7:05 PM ET.

Other Notes
- Reds pitching has the worst ERA (6.04) and FIP (5.26) in all of baseball.
- Reds hitters have the fewest extra-base hits (18) in all of baseball.
- Other Note 1 + Other Note 2 = a 2-8 record through 10 games that, honestly, should probably be even worse.
