The Cincinnati Reds will look to shrug off yesterday’s late loss to the Chicago White Sox, which should be easy to do considering it was a game that didn’t actually count. What we can take away from yesterday, though, is that the projected everyday regulars finally got their bats going in the game with the kind of offensive explosion we’d not yet seen from them in Cactus League play.
Luis Castillo will take the mound again today, this time against the Colorado Rockies. He’ll be backed by Robert Stephenson, who at this point could probably use a good outing more than any other pitcher in camp. Other pitchers who are on the travel roster today include Jared Hughes, Zack Weiss, Ariel Hernandez, and Kyle Crockett, among others.
First pitch is set for 3:10 PM ET, though there is no TV coverage of any sort today.

Other Notes
- Billy Hamilton is back in the lineup today, meaning his sprained left index finger must be feeling better. He’s also back in the leadoff spot today, sooo...
- If you’ve got a subscription to The Athletic, there’s a must-read interview of Joey Votto from Eno Sarris you should track down. I guess it’s actually right there, so maybe you don’t need to track it down, just track down a login or subscription.
- Nick Senzel is not listed on the travel roster, which means you won’t be able to not watch him on TV today.
