The Reds played two yesterday and, while they unfortunately didn’t win either game, they didn’t lose both of them, either! The Reds lost their titanic struggle with the White Sox, but played the Indians to a 2-2 tie.
Today, the Reds play the Diamondbacks, who are splitting up their squad for two today. Against the Reds, they’ll send Robbie Ray to the mound opposite of Robert Stephenson.
Joey Votto is getting a day off, but there are still plenty of exciting names that’ll suit up for this one. Join us, won’t you?

Other Notes
- During the games yesterday, the Reds added veteran outfielder Ben Revere to the OF mix on a minor league deal that will pay him 1.5 million dollars-ish should he make the squad out of the spring. You can read about that here, if you missed it.
- No Fox Sports Ohio on the television side for this one, but you should be able to listen to it on your Reds on Radio affiliate or online at reds.com. I don’t see anything on the D-Backs schedule listing this game, either, so I think you’ll have to settle for the dulcet tones of Marty Brennaman.
- Billy Hamilton is not leading off today! But, it’s because he’s not playing at all.
- Go Reds! They’re(still/also) my favorite team!
