The Cincinnati Reds will take on their AL counterparts from Cleveland to open Cactus League play today, with Goodyear Stadium set to host a 3:05 PM ET first pitch. Sal Romano will toe the rubber for Cincinnati to begin, though it’s highly likely he throws no more than two innings. Set to pitch behind him are Tyler Mahle, Jackson Stephens, Kevin Shackelford, and Keury Mella, as The Athletic’s C. Trent Rosecrans revealed earlier this week.
Mike Clevinger will start for Cleveland.

Other Notes
- This game will be available on FS-Ohio, unless you’re in one of those strategically awkward locations where it’s blacked out. I’d provide you with a map of those locations, but it’s essentially a scatter plot ith absolutely zero correlation. It will also be available on MLB.tv.
- The Enquirer’s John Fay asked Bryan Price if Billy Hamilton is the leadoff man. “He is right now,” replied Price. Price did also say, though, that Jesse Winker at leadoff could happen, too, when he’s in the lineup. There’s some Pepto in the cabinet to help you try to digest that one.
- Baseball is back. The Reds are about to be on the radio.
- Go Reds! They’re my favorite team!
