The off-season is still young, but there has already been plenty of news surrounding the Cincinnati Reds. While most of the news we have been looking for has been revolved around the now-finished search for a new manager and their plans for “getting the pitching,” this news is different. The Reds announced their plans to celebrate 150 years of professional baseball in Cincinnati, and they did so with this bomb-ass video:

If that doesn’t get your sugars up, I don’t know what will. The celebration will last the entirety of the 2019 season with numerous promotions, merchandise, and 15 different throwback uniforms that will be worn at different times this year. For more details on the events, you can see them here.
This will be fun to see play out the entire year. Some of the throwbacks are pretty cool and the plans around the city do as well. But, as with every promotion, it will go much, much better if the Reds field a winning team.
