The Reds’ starting pitching has become a strength, and it’s nice to see Bob Steve fitting right in with that. Especially given his troubles early in the season, the fact that he had a 3-0 record with a 2.22 ERA in August is a great sign. Bringing in more starters from Louisville means that there are more options than there ever was, and if Stephenson can keep it going, he should end the season in the rotation unless he hits his innings limit.

He’ll face Zach Davies today, who has been great for Milwaukee. He’s beaten playoff teams in his last two starts, so the Reds’ offense shouldn’t give him much of an issue, right?
