Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
1:10 PM ET
Garrit Cole vs. Robert Stephenson
The Reds will attempt to complete one final sweep of the Pirates this season. A win would bring the Reds within two games of fourth place in the NL Central, which means really nothing at all but hey, it’s the little things.
Bob Steve will go today. In four appearances (two starts) against Pittsburgh this season, Stephenson has a 3.94 ERA. He’s looking to bounce back after his last rough start in St. Louis, giving up six runs in three innings. Let’s not do that today, huh?
He will be opposite Garrit Cole. Last time Cole faced the Reds, he went seven scoreless innings and hit a home run. Yikes.
Anyway, let’s not let that happen again.
It’s a beautiful day for baseball. Go Reds!
