Louisville Bats 5, Pawtucket Red Sox 9

Minor league teams that share the mascot of their parent club are so boring. That being said, our Bats got smacked by the Red Sox last night. Cody “Welp” Reed gave up 5 runs on 7 hits with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. The 3 walks is an improvement, I guess? Maybe? Scott “Schebbles and Bits” Schebler went 2 for 4 with a double in his second rehab game. Adam Brett Walker “More like Adam Brett Dinger” was 2 for 3 with a solo dinger, a walk, and 2 runs scored while Zach “Cincy” Vincej was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.

Up Next: Jackson Stephens starts tonight against Pawtucket at 7:05 PM ET.
