The Reds will look to gain a split in this series before a 3-game set in Arizona closes out the unofficial first half of 2017.

Romano will make his second MLB start. His debut came on April 16 against Milwaukee when he walked four and gave up two earned runs and two home runs in three innings. This year in Triple-A, he has posted a 3.06 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP for the Bats.

Chatwood gave up four earned runs, seven hits and three walks in his last start against Arizona. He has a 4.41 ERA on the year but a 6.39 ERA when pitching at Coors Field.
