Louisville couldn’t finish off a solid start by Amir “Ball is Life” Garrett as they gave up a 3-run walk-off dinger to fall 5-4 to Syracuse. Garrett went 6.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts. That was a far cry from his last performance, where he gave up a lot more than 2 runs. Sebastian “Lizard People” Elizalde was 2 for 4 with a dinger and 2 RBI, Uncle Jesse Winker was 2 for 4 with a double, and Tyler “Good Day” Goeddel was 1 for 3 with a double, a walk, and 1 RBI. Jimmy will hope to Herget this one, as he gave up the 3-run dinger to end the game.
