Homer Bailey vs. Luis Severino

After dropping the opener last night, the Reds hope to gain a split in this two-gamer in the Bronx.

Bailey’s last start against Miami was one of his strongest since his return last month. He pitched six full, gave up two runs on eight hits, walked two and struck out three.

Severino was stellar in Seattle last Thursday. He went seven full, gave up no runs on eight hits and struck out six. He has a 3.21 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP on the season.
