Sal Romano vs. Robbie Ray

Sal Romano makes his third career start today, as the Reds mercifully begin a new series against the Diamondbacks. Unfortunately for them, Arizona’s a pretty good team as well. His last start on July 6th was promising, though, as Romano went 5 innings and gave up 2 runs, putting the Reds in the position to get a win.

Robbie Ray has been great for the Diamondbacks so far this season, and has been rock solid, making his first All-Star team this year. Not exactly the kind of pitcher the Reds were hoping to see after their offensive woes.
