Friday

Louisville 0, Indianapolis 6

General Jackson Stephens had his strikeout pitch working, but still got worked by the Indians. He gave up 5 earned runs over 4.1 innings. He allowed 9 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 7. Alejandro “Cha-ching” Chacin pitched 1.2 scoreless with 2 strikeouts, and Austin “Fisher” Brice struck out 1 in a in his perfect inning of relief. Darnell Sweeney “Todd” was 2 for 4 with a double.

Pensacola 2, Mississippi 1

Jesus “Holy Sweat” Reyes pitched 5 scoreless innings while allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 5. Brennan “San” Bernardino picked up the win and pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout. Pensacola scraped together 7 hits and 9 walks but only scored 2 runs. That’s stupid. Nick “Sexy” Senzel was 1 for 2 with a RBI and a walk, Tyler “Good Day” Goeddel was 1 for 2 with a double, RBI, and 3 walks, and Blake Trahan went 3 for 4 with a run scored.

Daytona 5, St. Lucie 8

Ty “Inflamed” Boyles was bad. He gave up 6 earned runs over 5 innings on 7 hits, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Sandy “Beaches” Lugo pitched a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout. Alejo “Aloha” Lopez went 2 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored, Stuart “Little” Fairchild was 2 for 4 with a double, run scored, and a RBI, and Andy “Slug Lord” Sugilio was 2 for 4 with a run scored, 2 doubles, and 3 RBI.

Saturday

Louisville 2, Indianapolis 0

Tyler “Poppin” Mahle picked himself back up after a rough start his last time on the mound for the Bats. He pitched 6 shutout innings while allowing only 1 hit, 3 walks, and striking out 7. Lisalverto “Listen Alberto” Bonilla picked up the 3 inning save while also striking out 3. The offense did just enough, with no extra base hits, so there is no one of note.

Pensacola 0, Mississippi 2

Deck “Feck” McGuire is a really good AA pitcher, and we should probably see if he is a good AAA pitcher. McGuire didn’t allow an earned run (1 run was unearned) over 7 innings. He gave up 3 hits, no walks, and struck out 7. The offense was just a bunch of poop.

Daytona 2, Clearwater 8

Wendoly Bautista really inflated his WHIP in his start on Saturday. He gave up 13 hits over 5 innings which lead to 6 earned runs. He didn’t walk a batter and struck out 5. Brian “Deer” Hunter pitched 2 scoreless with 2 strikeouts, Juan Martinez 1 scoreless, and Ryan “Jimi” Hendrix 1 scoreless with 2 strikeouts. Blake “County Breakfast” Butler was 2 for 4 with a RBI, and TJ “Dreidel” Friedl.

Wennington “Winnington” Romero was quite good. He allowed 9 earned runs over 5.2 innings with 7 hits, 1 walk, and 9 strikeouts to complete this line. Carlos “Muchador” Machorro pitched 1.1 scoreless, and Joel “Slyde” Kuhnel struck out 1 in his scoreless inning. Jose Siri was 3 for 5 with a double, solo dinger, and a RBI. Taylor “TT” Trammell was 2 for 5 with a double, 2 runs scored, and a solo dinger. Bruce “Yogi” Yari was 2 for 5 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored, John “Say It Ain’t” Sansone was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, a 2-run homer, and 2 walks, and “Butch” Cassidy Brown hit a double, scored, and walked twice.

Billings 3, Orem 9

Moises “Super” Nova pitched 4.1 innings and gave up 2 earned runs. He’s the only pitcher that did even reasonably well. Stuart Fairchild was 2 for 4, Mark “YOLO” Kolozsvary was 2 for 3 with a double, 2 runs scored, a RBI, and a walk, and Jeter “Churchill” Downs was 1 for 4 with a walk.

Baby Reds 9, Baby Dodgers 7

Alex “Spider” Webb didn’t give up an earned run over 3.2 innings (1 unearned run) while allowing only 1 hit, 2 walks, and striking out 5. Adrian Chacon pitched 1.1 scoreless innings of relief with a strikeout. Justin “Bell Ringer” Bellinger hit a 2 run homer, and Reniel “Kidneys” Ozuna was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored, a double, triple, 2 RBI, and a walk.

Sunday

Louisville 6, Indianapolis 5

Amir “Cat” Garrett has had a rough go of it since his torrid start to the season. He allowed 5 earned runs over 5 innings with 9 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts added to his line. Kevin “Rusty” Shackelford must have allowed some of Amir’s runners to score because he got the blown save though he didn’t allow a run. He did pitch 2 scoreless innings while striking out 2. Jimmy “Slenderman” Herget picked up the win while pitching 2 scoreless innings with a strikeout. Darnell “Mike” Sweeney was 2 for 3 with a solo dinger and a walk. Alex “The Great” Blandino was 2 for 4 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI.

Robert Stephenson pitches at 7:06 PM ET.

Pensacola 4, Mississippi 3

Rookie “Of The Year” Davis was decent. He allowed 2 earned runs over 5 innings with 4 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Geoff “Jeff” Broussard pitched a scoreless inning, and so did Zack Weiss but he struck out a batter. Nick “Senzational” Senzel was 2 for 5 with a double and a RBI, and Gabby Guerrero was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI. Blake “Lively” Trahan was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.

Jose Lopez pitches at 6:35 PM CT.

Daytona 4, Clearwater 13

Uhm, Johnathon Crawford walked 5 batters over 1.2 innings so you can guess how that went. The rest of the pitcher was equally as poopy. Daniel Sweet “Tooth” was 2 for 4 with a solo homer. Jonathan Reynoso was 2 for 3 with a double.

TheBoobyDoctor is on the mound at 7:05 PM ET.

Dayton 1, Kane County 2
