This will be Stephens’s MLB debut. So that’s eight pitchers – five starters – to make their debut this season for the Reds. For Triple-A Louisville, Stephens posted a 4.97 ERA and pitched at least five innings in 11 of his 14 starts.

Butler’s last outing in D.C. resulted in five full, four hits, no runs, no walks, and one strikeout. He has a 3.71 ERA on the year.
