Daytona Tortugas 2, St. Lucie Mets 3
Daytona struggled to get much going offensively in a 3-2 loss to St. Lucie. Mark “Who?” Armstrong got the start and went 4 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits with no walks and a strikeout. The bullpen couldn’t hold onto the lead after his solid start, as they allowed 3 runs in the last 3 innings for the loss. At the plate, only 3 guys were able to collect hits. Alfredo “Little Pasta” Rodriguez continued to hit well in May, as he went 3 for 4 and scored a run. Nick “Senzational” Senzel was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI and Gavin “As I walk through” LaValley was 1 for 4 with a solo dinger.
Up Next: TBD starts for Daytona at 6:30 PM ET.
Dayton Dragons 2, South Bend Cubs 9

Scott “Randy” Moss went 5 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Jesse “No Evil” Adams gave up only 1 run in his 3 innings. Unfortunately, Jesse “Evil” Stallings came on in the 9th and gave up 7 runs on 6 hits without recording an out. Yikes. At the plate, Bruce “New” Yari “New Me” was 2 for 4 with a double and scored a run, James “No, still no nickname” Vasquez was 1 for 4 with a 2-run dinger, and Michael “Head Rub” Beltre was 2 for 3 with a triple.
