Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals

8:15 PM ET

Tim Adleman vs. Lance Lynn

The Reds have been on a slide of late, losers in 8 of their last 10 baseball contests, thanks in large part to Eric Thames and his big bat.

Not to fear, though, as the Good Guys travel into St. Louis tonight, where history tells us they’ve had numerous great successes at Busch Stadium.

Wait, that’s not right...

Tim Adleman will take the mound tonight and look to building off his impressive last outing against the Cubs. While the off day was much needed for this team, the Reds would still like to see Adleman eat up another 6 or 7 innings tonight. I think he’s able.

La(y)nce Lynn is making his comeback from Tommy John surgery this season and, well, he’s looked great in his last two. He’s only allowed one run in his last 13 innings (my guess? Eric Thames).

Hey! Did you know that Lance Lynn is from Brownsburg, Indiana!? You know who else played high school baseball in Brownsburg, Indiana? Tucker Barnhart! AND Drew Storen! What’a story, huh?

It won’t be the last time you hear it.
