The Reds are back home as they take on the hated Cardinals in what should be a beautiful evening at GABP.
The Reds made a couple of roster moves today, calling up some pitching help, giving the bullpen some depth going into the stretch run. The Reds aren’t playing for much right now, but they could make themselves into spoilers going forward.
Anthony DeSclafani makes tonight’s start, and he’s been great lately. He threw a shutout in his last start, and will hope to carry some of that momentum back home. He’ll face Alex Reyes for the Cardinals, who’s making just his second big league start after starting this season in the bullpen. He went 4.2 innings at home against the A’s, so expect this to be a heavy bullpen night for St. Louis.
Go Reds!
