Louisville 1, Indianapolis 4 (F/7)

Amir “Ball Is Life” Garrett was pretty meh in what was probably is last start of the season. He pitched 5.1 innings of 4 run ball (3 earned). He allowed 4 hits, 1 walk, and 6 strikeouts. His big problem was with the long ball, as he gave up 2 homers. Jesse Winker walked twice, and Hernan “Conan” Iribarren was 2 for 3 and scored the only run.

Louisville 1, Indianapolis 4 (F/7)

No, this was not the same game. Drew Hayes started and was bad (3.2 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 0 K). Wandy “Not W Vandy” Peralta pitched 1.1 scoreless, and JJ Hoover pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout. Kyle Waldrop was 2 for 3 and so was Hernan Iribarren.

Pensacola 11, Birmingham 8

Tyler “Poppin’” Mahle had another rough start. He gave up 6 earned runs in 3.2 innings pitched. There were 10 hits allowed, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Nick Routt pitched 3.1 innings with 3 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Alejandro “Cha-Ching” Chacin struckout the side in the 9th for his 28th save. Chad “Walla Walla” Wallach was 3 for 5. Alex Blandino was 2 for 4 with a walk, Sebastian “Bach” Elizalde was 2 for 5 with a RBI, Brandon Dixon was 2 for 5 with a RBI, Zach Vincej was 2 for 5 with 4 RBI, and Jeff “Peanut Butter” Gelalich was 2 for 5 with a solo dinger and 3 RBI.

Rookie Davis pitches tonight at 7:05 PM CT.

Daytona 10, Brevard County 0 (F/7)

It rained in Daytona, again, but they did finish an official game. Nolan “Black ‘N” Becker pitched 4 scoreless innings with 3 hits allowed, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. Brennan Bernardino pitched 3 scoreless inning with the exact same line as Becker. Juan Duran hit a 3 run dinger, and Aristides “Heiress Titties” Aquino was 3 for 3 with a double, triple, RBI, and a walk. That’s a good day. Blake Trahan, Shed Long, and Reydel Medina all had 2 hit games.

Mystery Pitcher is on the mound at 6:35 PM EST.

Dayton 6, Lake County 2

Wendolyn Bautista allowed 11 hits in 5.2 innings, but only gave up 2 earned runs. He walked 1 and struck out 7. Sandy “Luigi” Lugo struck out 6 in 3.1 scoreless. Nick Senzel was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. Mitch Piatnik was 2 for 3 with a double, and James Vasquez hit a solo dinger.

Billings 6, Great Falls 8

Andrew Jordan got roughed up (0.1 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 0 K). Jake “Nick Miller” Johnson would eventually come into the game and give up 3 innings pitched with an earned run, and Brian Hunter pitched 2 scoreless with 4 strikeouts. Taylor “TT” Trammell continues to be awesome by going 3 for 4 with a triple and a walk. Hector Vargas hit a solo dinger on a 2 for 5 evening. He also had a triple and 2 RBI total. Jose “Stupid” Siri hit a solo wanger.
