Farmers Only: Sal Romano Prolly Knows Where You Live

Unless you like horse heads in your bed, you better get wise to his excellence.

Louisville 5, Charlotte 3

Daniel "Can Do" Wright has had a rough season, mixing in some time with the Reds, Bats, and Wahoos, and put together a fine start.  He allowed 3 earned runs over 5 innings, but gave up 6 hits, 2 walks, and struck out a dandy 8 batters.  A mixed battery of Drew "Rutherford B." Hayes, Matt "McGraw" Magill, Keyvious "Hey There Delilah" Sampson, and Kevin "Rusty" Shackelford all pitched scoreless innings, which is totes cool. Jesse Winker Votto'd out a 1 for 3 night with a walk, which is turning into a super standard thing.  He's been on base on something like 38 out of 41 games, or that's a stat I'm butchering from Twitter.  Seth Mejias "Red" Breans "And Rice" hit a solo ding dong.

Big Bob Stephenson will be on the mound tomorrow night at 7:05 PM EST.

Pensacola 5, Jacksonville 2

Sal Romano was dag gone diggty good, and has been diddly iddly good for a while now.  He put up a 8 inning scoreless line where he only allowed 2 hits, 0 walks, and 6 strikeouts.  Oh, wait, here are some facts.

The bullpen gave up the runs, so we'll ignore them.

Sebastian "Lizard People" Elizalde don't stop.  That means he went 3 for 4.  Ray "Cheech N'" Chang went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.

Tyler Mahle takes the mound at 6:30 PM CT.

Daytona's game was postponed due to water falling from the sky.

They'll play two on Wednesday with Tejay Antone and Keury Mella on the mound.

Dayton was given a day off, and I assume they just take a bunch of naps.  That's what I do on a day off.

Austin Orewiler is on the mound at 7:00 PM EST

Billings 1, Great Falls 5

Scott "Santana" Moss had an icky start.  He pitched 2 innings and gave up 3 earned runs (4 total) with 5 hits allowed with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Alfredo "Probably A Good Guy" Mena only gave up 1 earned run over 4 innings with 4 strikeouts.  Jake "Shake N' Bake" Johnson pitched 2 scoreless with a strikeout.  T.J. "My Friend" Fiedl is just killing the Pioneer League.  He went 3 for 4 with a triple.  He's hitting .362 this year, and I can't wait to start writing about prospects this winter.  This farm system is stacked, and 'd argue with anyone about it.

Baby Reds didn't play either, but they are scheduled to play a TBD with a TBD on the mound tomorrow.

I don't know what the hell that means, but it just goes to show you how much the AZL League does not matter.
