Famers Only: Nick Senzel Is Doing A Joey Votto

He's hitting and walking, and generally just being awesome.

Louisville 1, Toledo 5

John "Mary Had A Little" Lamb took the start and only gave up an unearned run in 4 innings.  He allowed 4 hit, 2 walks, and struck out 1.  Dayan "Dayum" Diaz pitched 1.1 scoreless with 3 strikeouts, and Hernan Iribarren pitched another inning with a clean frame.  He was also throwing 40 MPH knuckleballs, I guess.  Hernan The Barbarian also went 2 for 4.  The lone run was scored on a solo dinger by Carlos Truinfel who also hit a double in 4 at bats.

Louisville 3, Toledo 0

Wandy Peralta started and pitched 4 innings of shutout baseball with 3 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts.  Drew Hayes struck out 3 in two scoreless, and Matt Magill pitched 2 scoreless with a walk and 2 strikeouts. JJ Hoover picked up his 4th save by striking out the side in the 9th.  Kyle "Wallflower" Waldrop was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.  Juan Perez was 2 for 3 with a RBI and a walk. Ray "Cheech And" Chang was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a RBI.

Louisville plays tonight at 7:05 PM EST with Mystery Pitcher on the mound.

Pensacola 5, Mississippi 1

General Jackson Stephens turned in another stellar performance.  He gave up 1 earned run over 7 innings.  He allowed 3 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 7.  Evan Mitchell pitched a scoreless inning, and Alejandro "Cha-Ching" Chacin did the same with 2 strikeouts. Brandon "Mason" Dixon hit a solo dinger, and Chad Wallach hit a 2 run dinger on a 2 for 2 night with 2 walks.  Alex "The Great" Blandino continued his hot streak with a 3 for 5 evening with 2 RBI.

Sal Romano pitches tonight at 6:30 PM CT.

Daytona was off, but will play a double header today.  Mystery Pitcher pitches in Game 1 and Wendolyn Bautista pitches in Game 2.

Dayton 3, Bowling Green 9

Austin "Orwellian" Orewiler got trounced in this game.  He gave up 8 runs (5 earned) over 4.2 innings.  He gave up 10 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 3.  Sandy "Beaches" Lugo pitched 2 scoreless with 3 strikeouts.  Nick "Sensational" Senzel was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks.  That OBP is going way up. Brantley Bell was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI, and a walk.  Daniel Sweet continued his great season with 2 walks. Mitch "Panic!" Piatnik was 2 for 4 with a double.

Dayton has a double header as well. The first game is scheduled for 6:00 PM EST which sounds unrealistic if they're gonna play two.  Jesus Reyes will start Game 1, and Ty Boyles is on the mound for Game 2.

Billings was off for their All-Star Game.  I didn't notice any Reds prospects doing anything of notice, but I could be wrong.

The Baby Reds were also off, but will resume play tonight at 7:00 PM MT.
