Robert Stephenson heard (even if he didn't like it) the criticisms laid down by his manager after his last start and responded with a much better start. Stephenson pitched 6 innings and gave up 2 earned runs. He allowed 5 hits, 3 walks, and struck out 7. The walks are still higher than you'd like, but you gotta like the uptick in strikeouts. A.J. "Hal" Morris (2 K's), Matt "Mr. Magoo" Magill, and Stephen "Big" Johnson (1 K) all pitched a scoreless inning. Dilson Herrera was 2 for 5 with a solo dinger and 2 RBI. Hernan "The Destroyer" Iribarren just won't stop. Iribarren was 4 for 5 with a double and a RBI. Jesse Winker also went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI. Carlos Truinfel was 2 for 5 with a double and a RBI, and Chris Berset went 2 for 3 with 2 walks.

Pensacola
Wednesday night, Barrett "Kick" Astin pitched well (6.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, and 5 K) in a loss, 3-2.
Slippy Sal Romano continues to rack up good starts and lowered his season ERA to 3.61 on the year. Romano pitched 6 innings and gave up 2 earned runs while allowing 7 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 7. Nick Routt and Evan Mitchell (2 K's) pitched scoreless innings. Sebastian "Crabs" Elizalde hit a 3 run wanger, and Brandon "Mason" Dixon was 3 for 4.

Daytona
Wednesday night, Seth Varner was absolutely fantastic in a 7-1 win He pitched 7 innings while only giving up 1 run. He gave up 6 hits, 0 walks, and struck out 5. Blake Trahan was 2 for 4 with a double, triple, and a RBI.
Tejay "Teehee" Antone had a hard luck game. He allowed 4 earned runs over 7 innings. He gave up 10 hits but didn't walk a batter and had 7 strikeouts. Alex "Light Tower" Powers pitched 2 scoreless with 2 strikeouts, and Jimmy Herget picked up the win in the 11th after pitching 2 scoreless with a strikeout. Blake Trahan hit a 2 run homer on a 4 for 4 night with 3 RBI total. Juan "Duran" Duran went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Jonathan Reynoso was 3 for 5 with a RBI.

Dayton
Wednesday, Dayton won, 2-1, behind great pitching from Jesus "Starts" Reyes. His line was 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, and 6 K. Ryan Hendrix struck out 5 in 2 scoreless, and Tanner Rainey picked up the save with 2 strikeouts in 1 inning. Nick Senzel was 1 for 3 with another walk.
Austin Orewiler wasn't as sharp in his start. He gave up 3 earned (4 total) runs in 6 innings. He allowed 6 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 2. Braulio "Brolio" Ortiz struck out 3 over 2 scoreless innings. Luis "MVP" Gonzalez was 2 for 3 with a walk. Brantley "Ring My" Bell also chipped in with a single, RBI, and 2 walks.

Billings
Wednesday, Billings lost 2-3. Zac Correll pitched 4 scoreless innings with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. T.J. Friedl was 2 for 4 with a double.

Billings put up 7 runs in the 6th en route to a 15-5 win in Missoula. Scott "Randy" Moss got the start for the 'Stangs, and had another nice outing, going 5 innings and giving up 2 runs to extend his record to 3-0 for the season. He's now sporting an impressive 1.98 ERA. Taylor Trammell went 3 for 5 with his 1st home run of the year to drive in 2 of his 3 RBI. Billings had 17 hits overall, and John Sansone drove in 4 runs to lead the team.
