Brandon Finnegan vs. David Phelps


The Reds begin a 4-game set against the Marlins tonight at Great American Ball Park. They'll send Brandon Finnegan to the hill in Game 1, who's been nails in his last few starts. After coming off of two straight shutout starts where he earned a win in both, he held the Cardinals to 3 runs in St. Louis and the Reds pulled out a win in that one too. In fact, the Reds have only lost one of Finnegan's starts since the beginning of July.

He'll face David Phelps, who has spent most of the year in the Marlins' bullpen, and is making his 3rd start since joining the rotation.
