New, 13 comments

Wait, they still lost. Whatever. Stupid headline is stupid headline.

Louisville 3, Lehigh Valley 7

Tim "Paddleman" Adleman gave up a ton of hits.  He allowed 4 earned runs over 5 innings while giving up 10 hits, no walks, and striking out 3.  He also gave up two homers.  Stephen Johnson pitched 2 scoreless with a strikeout, but the rest of the bullpen wasn't so good.  Carlos Truinfel was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.  Uncle Jesse Winker was 2 for 4 and Hernan "The Barbarian" Iribarren was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.

John Lamb will pitch tonight at 7:05 PM ST

Pensacola 3, Biloxi 0

Rookie Davis is really turning his season around, even though it was never really that bad to begin with.  He's just starting to strike more people out.  Davis pitched 5 innings and didn't allow one run.  He gave up 4 hits, 0 walks, and struck out 4.  He threw 57 pitches and 44 of them were strikes.  That's pretty outstanding.  Jacob "Scritch Scratch" Ehret pitched 2 scoreless with 2 strikeouts, and the more than Abel De Los Santos picked up the save after pitching 2 scoreless with a strikeout.  Phillip Ervin was 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk.

Jackson Stephens will pitch tonight at 6:30 PM CT

Daytona 5, Bradenton 3

Tejay "Teehee" Antone had a pretty solid evening.  He pitched 6.2 innings while allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Ariel "Seashell Bra" Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning with 2 strikeouts, and Jimmy Herget struck out the side in the 9th to pick up his 16th save. Blake Trahan was 2 for 5, and Angelo Gumbs went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and a solo dinger.

Wendloyn Bautista pitches tonight at 6:30 PM EST.

Dayton 4, Quad Cities 12

Ty "Poppin'" Boyles is still having some troubles.  He allowed 4 runs (3 earned) over 3.2 innings while giving up 6 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts.  The rest of the pitching was equally as poopy. Nick "Senzinnati" Seznel continues to rake.  He hit a 3 run dinger, his second of the year, on a 2 for 3 night with a walk.  He's now hitting .328 for Dayton, and I'd expect a promotion soon.  Chris Okey hit a double and walked on a 1 for 3 night.

Austin Orewiler pitches tonight at 8:00 PM EST.

Billings 3, Grand Junction 4

Andrew "Michael" Jordan had a pretty good night.  He allowed 3 runs (2 earned runs) while giving up 9 hits, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts.  Daniel Sweet "Tooth" was 2 for 2 with a double.  Montrell "Williams" Marshall was 2 for 4 with a walk, and John Sansone made up for that 5 error game the other day by going 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and a double.  Alejo "Aloha" Lopez brings up the rear by going 2 for 3 with a RBI and 2 walks.  This was the result of Game 1.  They played 2 in Billings.

Billings 7, Grand Junction 1

Scott Moss took the start in Game 2 and shut down the Rockies.  He allowed only 1 earned run over 4.2 innings while giving up 3 hits, 0 walks, and striking out 4.  Alex Webb entered the game and locked down the win over 2.1 scoreless innings.  He allowed 4 hits, no walks, and struck out 3. Taylor Trammmell was 1 for 4 and scored a run after stealing his 11th base of the season.  Jose "Lady GPS" Siri was 2 for 4 with a RBI and a run scored.  John "Bambone" Sansone was 2 for 4.  Cassidy "Butch" Brown was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored, and Miles "James" Gordon was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI.

Adrian Rodriguez will pitch tonight at 6:30 PM MT.

Baby Reds 2, Baby White Sox 3

Luis Alecis started and did very well.  He pitched 5 innings and gave up 1 unearned run.  He allowed 2 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 3.  Miguel Aguilar pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief.  He gave up 4 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 4.  Pabel Manzanero, Michael Beltre, Derik Capitillo, and Edgar Herrera all had 2 hit games.
