Tyler Stephenson returns to Dayton with some lighting in his bat.

Louisville was off because of their All Star Break.  The All Star game was held last evening with the International League All Stars taking home the victory.  Jermaine "Lee" Curtis appears to be the only Louisville Bat that participated.  He went 1 for 2.

The Bats will play tonight at 7:05 PM EST with Daniel Wright on the mound.

Pensacola 0, Biloxi 1

Pensacola lost, but that had nothing to do with Naughty Nick Travieso who was stellar last night.  Travieso pitched 7.1 innings while allowing 1 earned run, 4 hits, 0 walks, and 6 strikeouts.  Travieso had a rough go of it early on this season, but he owns an ERA of 1.53 over his last 5 starts.  Carlos Gonzalez struck out 3 in 1.2 scoreless innings of work.  Because the offense completely sucked, we'll continue to talk about Nick Travieso.  He was 1 for 1 with a walk, and was on base more than any other Wahoo in this game.

Tyler Mahle will pitch tonight at 6:05 PM CT

Daytona 1, St. Lucie 6

Keury "Curry" Mella has had better starts.  He went 5 innings in this one and gave up 4 earned runs, 7 hits, 2 walks, 1 strikeout, and 2 dingers.  Nolan "Ryan" Becker pitched 2 scoreless with a strikeout.  Gavin LaValley was 2 for 4.

Dayton 4, Beloit 1

Tanner "Mount" Rainey was on the hill for this victory and did quite well.  He pitched 5 scoreless innings while giving up 2 hits, 3 walks, and 5 strikeouts.  Sandy "Beaches" Lugo pitched 2 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts, and Jesus "Saves" Reyes pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout.  Jesus actually picked up a hold instead of a save.  Tyler "Bat Flip" Stephenson made his return to the Dragons and hit a 3 run dinger, and I'm hoping did a cool bat flip.  Reydel Medina also hit a solo tater.  Brantley "Ring My" Bell was 2 for 3.

Jacob Constante will pitch tonight at 7:00 PM EST

Billings 13, Grand Junction 2

Moises Nova took the start and kept the Rockies off the board though 4 innings.  He allowed 2 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 2.  Alfredo "Linguine" Mena pitched a scoreless inning, as did Jake Johnson who had 2 strikeouts, and Joel Kuhnel.  So many hits.  Fifteen, in fact.  Taylor Trammell was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI.  Montrell Marshall "Plan" was 2 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, and a walk.  Cassidy "Butch" Brown was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI, and Hector Vargas was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, and a walk.

Antonio Santillan will pitch tonight at 7:05 PM MT

The Baby Reds were off.  They'll play Thursday at 7:00 PM MT.
