Farmers Only: AAA Was Not Helpful For Amir Garrett

Seems that things were going pretty well for Amir "Ball Is Life" Garrett as he took a shutout into the 6th inning.  The wheels fell off after that.  Garrett allowed 1 hit, 3 earned runs, 6 walks, and struck out 4.  That's not a good line, people.  Hopefully, it's just a blip.  Of course it doesn't help that Chad Rogers allowed 4 runs on 4 hits and a walk while not recording an out as soon as Garrett left the game.  Wandy Peralta was the only pitcher to not allow a run in his 1 inning pitched.  Hernan "The Barbarian" Irribarren was 4 for 5 with a double and a RBI.

Pensacola will play tonight at 6:05 PM CT with Tyler Mahle making his AA debut.

Daytona 6, Tampa 5

Seth Varner put together a solid start.  He went 5.2 innings while giving up 3 earned runs with 7 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 6.  Alex "International Man Of Mystery" Powers pitched 1.1 scoreless with a strikeout, and Jimmy Herget pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout to pick up his 12th save. Brian "Beef" O'Grady was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI, and Blake "Brohemian" Trahan was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, and 2 walks. Chad "Bad Hair" Tromp was 2 for 4 with a solo dinger, a double, and 2 runs scored.

Mystery Pitcher is on the mound at 6:00 PM EST.

Dayton will have Ty Boyles on the mound at 7:00 PM EST

Billings 6, Helena 9

Antonio "Sangria" Santillan was quite effective in his start.  He pitched 4 innings and gave up an earned run while allowing 4 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 7.  Patrick "Let's Get" Riehl pitched 2 innings while not giving up an earned run (there was 1 run scored).  He allowed a hit, a walk, and struck out 3.  Junior Arias also pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout.  Jose "Calling" Siri went 3 for 5 with a triple, run scored, and a RBI. Alejo "Aloha" Lopez was also 3 for 5 with a RBI and 2 runs scored.  Mitch Piatnik "At The Disco" was 2 for 5 with a double, triple, run scored, and a RBI.
