Syracuse Chiefs 2, Louisville Bats 4

The Gopper, Jon Moscot got the start for the Bats and went 6 innings scattering 6 hits and 2 runs on 2 strikeouts. Steve Delabar relieved Moscot for an inning and allowed only a hit while striking out 2. Drew "Rutherford" Hayes allowed a hit with a strikeout in his inning. Michael "The Gangly Righty" Lorenzen made his second relief appearance for the year, striking out the side on 13 pitches for the save. Scott F. Schebler hit another triple and batted 2 in with a walk, Carlos "Triflin'" Triunfel had 3 hits and an RBI, while The Knockwurst Donald Lutz had 2 hits and an RBI.

Up Next: The Bats are off this evening.

Mobile Bay Bears 2, Pensacola Blue Wahoos 0

Raisel "Igloo" Iglesias actually started this one and pitched the first two innings for the Wahoos. He allowed no hits and no runs and struck out 2. General Jackson Stephens came on thereafter and was fine, scattering 6 hits, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) walking 2 and striking out 6. The Other CarGo Carlos Gonzalez finished the final 2.1 innings, allowing only a hit and a walk, striking out 2. Unfortunately, the Wahoos would only manage 3 hits in this one. Uncle Phil (RIP) Ervin, Kyle "South" Parker, and Calten Daal "House" all managed a hit apiece.

Up Next: The Blue Wahoos will play two tonight. "Double" Barrett Astin will go at 6:00pm EDT, while Amir Garrett will spin a gem thereafter.

Daytona Tortugas 3, Jupiter Hammerheads 2

Seth Varner pitched 7 innings for the Dragonas in this one, scattering 5 hits and allowing 2 runs on 3 strikeouts. Alex "The Bulletproof Tiger" Powers walked 2 and struck out 2 in his inning, "The Big Mermaid" Ariel Hernandez pitched 2 innings, striking out 2 and allowing a hit. Jimmy Herget "To Ferget" struck out two and allowed nothing in his inning of work. Brian "Beef" O'Grady slugged a home run as a part of a 3 hit day, batting in 2. Jonathan "Rey Don't Think So" Reynoso had a 2 hit day, and Aristides Aquino hit a double and scored a run.

South Bend Cubs 2, Dayton Dragons 3

Ty "The Plague of" Boyles pitched 6 strong innings, only giving up 1 run on 6 hits and walking one. Brantley "Blue" Bell and Kevin Franklin had two hits each to lead the offense, and "Tool" Shed Long hit his 7th dinger of the year. Mitch "I speak for the" Trees and Reydel "Mecca and" Medina doubled to add to the Dragons' 6 extra base hits on the night. "There's no one as Irish as" Sarkis Ohanian set down all 5 of the hitters he faced (including 3 strikeouts) for this 2nd save of the season.
