Stephen "Thought He Was A Reliever" Johnson took the start tonight and was quite solid over 4 innings.  He allowed 1 earned run with 3 hits, no walks, and 3 strikeouts.  Still, it's kinda weird to see him getting so many innings. Dayan "Dayum" Diaz pitched 2 scoreless innings while giving up a hit, a walk, and striking out 2. Jumbo "AAA Killer" Diaz pitched a scoreless 1.2 with a hit allowed, 2 walks, a strikeout, and he picked up his 10th AAA save. Scott "Shots, shots, shots" Schebler continued with his torrid pace in AAA with a 2 for 4 night with a double, and a solo dinger.  Brandon Allen also hit a dinger.

Pensacola 1, Montgomery 7

When first looking at the score I thought bad things for Nick Travieso.  However, Krampus was pretty solid last evening.  He went 6 innings, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, and 5 K.  The bullpen was pretty gag worthy until Kyle "McYours?" McMyne threw 2.1 shutout innings.  Phillip Ervin was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

Raisel Iglesias hits hits second rehab start tomorrow at 6:30 PM CT.

Daytona 7, Jupiter 4

Keury Mella didn't throw a bunch of pitches in this one.  He went 4 innings with 78 pitches thrown.  He allowed 6 hits, 2 earned runs, 2 walks, and 2 strikeouts.  I'd tell you about Nick Howard, but that would make you want to hit yourself in the face with a hammer.  Jimmy "Moron" Moran pitched 2 scoreless, and Brennan Bernardino and Jacob "Scritch Scratch" Ehret both pitched scoreless innings.

Dayton 2, South Bend 7

Jose "Porky" Lopez took the start and was pretty decent.  He went 5 innings while allowing 2 earned runs (while 4 were actually scored).  He gave up 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3.  Juan "Don" Martinez threw 3 scoreless frames while allowing 4 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 4.  Reydel "Hey There" Medina hit a 2 run dinger, and that was about it.
