Farmers Only: Nasty Nick is Nasty, Slick

Louisville's had their game against Scranton rained out yesterday and will play a double-header today. A.J. Morris will get the start in game 1 at 5:05 PM ET and Cody Reed will get the start in game 2.

Pensacola Blue Wahoos 3, Mississippi Braves 1

The Blue Wahoos shut down Mississippi on Tuesday, defeating the Braves 3-1. "Nasty" Nick Travieso was fantastic in his start, going 7 innings and giving up 1 hit, no runs, 3 walks while striking out 6. Jeff Gelalich was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI, Joe Hudson extended his hitting streak to 4 games in a 2 for 3, 1 RBI night, and Phil "Phlervin" Ervin Phlerved an RBI of his own in a 1 for 4 performance. Alex "The Great" Blandino also reached base twice, going 1 for 3 with a walk.  "The Other" Carlos Gonzalez was solid in relief, going 1.2 innings with 2 strikeouts, earning his 3rd save of the season.

Amir Garrett gets the start tonight at 6:30 PM ET.

Daytona Tortugas 4, Charlotte Stone Crabs 1

Daytona won a rain-shortened game in Charlotte last night, defeating the Stone Crabs 4-1. Seth Varner was solid, going 5.1 innings while giving up 5 hits and 1 earned run while walking 1 and striking out 4. Aristides "Heiress Titties" Aquino continued his recent stretch of tearing the cover off the ball, going 2 for 2 with a double, a walk, and a run scored. Blake "Kelly and Michael" Trahan decided to join in, collecting two hits of his own with 2 runs scored and a solo dinger. Deciding that he did not want to be left out, Jonathan Reynoso "horny" was also 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Blake "Country Breakfast" Butler was 1 for 4 and Angelo "Thank goodness you're back so I can type your name again" Gumbs was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. Evan Mitchell was Batman in this one and earned the save in his 0.2 innings of work.

TBD takes the mound against Charlotte tonight at 6:35 PM ET.

Dayton Dragons 6, Lake County Captains 4

Dayton did the unthinkable and had multiple people cross home plate in a professional baseball game in a 6-4 win over Lake County. Jacob Constante"nople" got the start, giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs in 5.2 innings. He also walked 2 and struck out 3. Zack "Agents of" Shields was 2 for 4 with a walk, a run scored, and a RBI. James Vasquez knocked his 5th dinger of the year as a part of his 2 for 5, 2 RBI evening. Shane Mardirosian also collected 2 hits with a RBI and 2 walks. Ariel Hernandez earned his second save of the season in a scoreless inning of relief.
