Farmers Only: Daniel Wright has a night

Complete game kinda-shutout for the 25 year old Reds farmhand.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders 1, Louisville Bats 4

DANIEL WRIGHT! got the start and was absolutely magnificent. He went the full 9 innings, allowing only 3 hits and 1 unearned run to go along with 0 walks and 8 strikeouts. Keep in mind this is a RailRider squad with several of the Yankees top prospects, including two in the top 60 of all the minor leagues, along with MLB veterans Nick Swisher and Pete Kozma. Okay, I'll grant you Pete Kozma, but still. What a night from the 25 year old right hander.

The Bats were buoyed by Scott Schebler's 2 RBI night on 2 hits with a double. Jermaine "Dupree" Curtis had 2 hits and a run scored. Steve "Too" Selsky belted an RBI on his one hit with a run scored, while Kyle "Make This" Waldrop batted a run in on his only hit of the night. Hernan "The Barbarian" Iribarren had 3 hits and 2 runs scored, upping his average to a cool .431.

Up Next: A.J. "Saved By The Bell" Morris will start against Scranton tomorrow night at 7:05 EDT.

Mississippi Braves 4, Pensacola Blue Wahoos 3

The Wahoos had this one until they didn't, as the pitching let them down late. "Double" Barrett Astin got the start and went 3.2 IP with 3 hits, 2 ER, and 2 BB with 3 K. Nick Routt "66" went 3.1 innings allowing 2 hits and a walk with 3 Ks, "Don't Call My Name" Alejandro Chacin recorded 2 innings, allowing a run on 2 walks and a strikeout, blowing the save. Eventually, Kyle McMyne "With Cheese" would be hung with the loss, allowing the winning run in his 1 inning pitched. He's got a 9.82 ERA this season.

"Uncle" Phil (RIP) Ervin hit a double and batted in 2 on the evening, while Tony Renda had 2 hits and a run scored. Eric "2 Dope" Jagielo had a hit.

Up Next: Naughty Nick Travieso will take the mound against the baby Barves at 7:30pm EDT.

Daytona Tortugas 3, Charlotte Stone Crabs 2

Keury "Yella" Mella took the bump for the Dragonas and pitched 6 solid innings, allowing only 1 earned run to go with 6 hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Brennan "Sarn" Bernardino pitched a scoreless frame allowing only a hit. Jacob "Record Scratch" Ehret pitched a scoreless of his own with a strikeout, while Jimmy Herget "The Hell Outta Here" allowed 2 hits, 2 walks, and a run with a strikeout. The Blakes (Butler and Trahan) both had 2 hits and a run scored a piece. Aristides Aquino also had 2 hits, one a triple, batted in 2 runs, scored a run himself and walked once as the offensive star of the Dragonas in this one. Taylor "Bubba" Sparks batted in a run on his hit.

Up Next: has nothing listed. That's weird. They'll go at 6:35pm EDT in Charlotte, whoever it is.

Thank God, Dayton was off.

They're not very good.

Up Next: Jacob "Keanu" Constante will go against Lake County at 6:30 EDT.
