After another off day yesterday, the Reds are poised for a strong start to their road trip. They'll begin in Philadelphia, playing the return series from their season opener, and they face the same starter they beat Opening Day in Jeremy Hellickson. The Phillies' starter pitched well on that day, but has only had one other quality start this year in his 7 starts. He also hasn't had one at home so far.
The Reds have Brandon Finnegan on the mound, who has been pretty solid so far this season. He only gave up 2 runs against this Phillies team on Opening Night, but has had some pretty rough run support lately.
The Reds will be without Billy Hamilton, who went on the bereavement list after the tragic death of his young nephew, so Jose Peraza will be on the roster for this series, and we should see him get some time.
Go Reds!
