Everyone was worried. He's gonna be just fine.

Louisville 5, Toledo 7

A.J. "Zach" Morris could have had a better start.  He pitched 5.1 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 3 BB, 5 K.  He also surrendered a dinger.  Stephen Johnson pitched in relief and didn't put up much of a fight so I won't tell you about it. Hernan "The Barbarian" Iribarren was 2 for 4 with a walk, and Steve "Lemon Lime" Selsky was 2 for 4 with a double.  We also had Kyle "Balldrop" Waldrop go 2 for 4, and Carlos "Brunifel?" Truinfel hit 2 doubles in 4 at bats with 2 RBI.

Cody Reed pitches early this morning at 10:35 AM EST.

Pensacola 6, Chattanooga 4

The Wahoos played against the Reds former AA team and pushed out a victory.  Rookie Davis did the unthinkable and raised his ERA above 1.00 with his outing.  He still isn't striking anyone out which is worrisome.  He pitched 5.0 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, and 1 K with a homer allowed.  Alejandro "Chasin'" Chacin pitched 1.1 scoreless with 3 strikeouts.  There were five multi-hit games in this one so I'll hit on the top guys.  Alex "Hambino" Blandino continues to raise that average.  He was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI, a run scored, and 2 walks.  That's exactly what we're looking for.  Tony Renda continued to do good things with a 2 for 4 night with a walk.  Eric "Juggalo" Jagielo was 2 for 3 with a double, triple, and a walk.

Nick Travieso will pitch tonight at 6:15 PM CT.

Daytona 9, Brevard County 2

Keury "Curry" Mella had by far his best start of the year.  He pitched 8 innings of 7 hit, 2 earned run ball, with no walks, and 8 strikeouts. Brennan Bernardino picked up an easy breezy inning of work with a walk and a strikeout. Chad "Donald" Tromp was 3 for 4 with a double, solo dinger, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI.  Garrett "Malware" Boulware was 3 for 4 with a double, run scored, and 2 RBI.  Other guys had a bunch of hits, but not as cool as those two.

Seth Varner pitches tonight at 7:05 PM EST.

Dayton 0, South Bend 2

Well, so much for a winning streak.  Jose "Porky" Lopez was rock freaking solid.  He pitched 6 innings and gave up 6 hits with 1 run (0 earned), with no walks and 8 strikeouts.  Jesus "Lives" Reyes pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief with 2 strikeouts. Ed "Make the Bed" Charlton was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk.  Everyone else was #poopsocks

Franderlin Romero pitches tonight at 7:00 PM EST.
