Farmers Only: Ervin Doubles Down Dingers!

Also, props to the Tortugas for sweet headlines. We love you.

Daniel Wright got a promotion which is pretty cool.  He also pitched pretty well for Louisville.  Wright pitched 5.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K.  Chad "Shark Bait" Rogers, JJ "Nobody, Does It Like You" Hoover, and Dayan "Double D" Diaz all had scoreless appearances from the pen.  Jesse "Wesse" Winker was 2 for 3 with a walk and a double, Jermaine "Lee" Curtis was 2 for 5 with a double and a RBI, and Scott Schebler was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI and a walk.

A.J. Morris will pitch tonight at 6:35 PM EST.

Pensacola 10, Chattanooga 9

General Jackson Stephens got himself a good start tonight.  Stephens went 6.0 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K.  He's sitting with a 3.78 ERA.  The only reliever that was worth a damn was Carlos Gonzalez, though he got a blown save because of sucky defense.  Gonzalez picked up the pieces in extra innings and pitched 3 innings of no earned run ball with 4 strikeouts.  The offense obviously made it interesting. Phillip "Phlervin" Ervin was the hero of the game with a 2 for 5 night.  He walked and hit 2 solo dingers.  Tony Renda was finally moved to leadoff, and he hit two doubles with 2 RBI on a 3 for 6 night.  Brandon "Dixieland Delight" Dixon was 2 for 6 with a 2 run wanger and a 3 RBI. Eric "Juggs" Jagielo was 2 for 5  with a walk and a run scored.  I'm pretty sure that Ervin's last homer was a walk off fun time blast, but I'm not reading no recap.

Rookie Davis pitches tonight a 6:15 PM CT.

Daytona 2, Brevard County 0

First, I'd like to congratulate the Daytona Tortugas for their sweet headline that said, "Tortugas Rally With Mahle" which may or may not rhythm.  Tyler "Rahle" Mahle picked himself up from a previous rough start.  He pitched 6 innings, giving up 2 hits, 0 ER, 2 walks, and 6 hits.  Gregg Williams, Evan Mitchell, and Jimmy "Sherbet" Herget. Williams stuck out 1, Mitchell 2, and Hergert 2. Blake "Blame The" Butler was 2 for 4 with double and a RBI. Brian "Where's The Beef" O'Grady was 1 for 3 with a walk.

Keury Mella will pitch tonight at 7:05 PM EST

Dayton 5, South Bend 4

Jacob Constante held his own with a 5 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K.  Ariel "Mermaid" Hernandez also pitched a scoreless inning with 3 strikeouts.  Zack Shields was 2 for 3 with a double, run scored, and a RBI.  Ed "Do The' Charlton was 2 for 3 with a double and a 2 run big fly.  Other stuff probably happened, but the box score is kinda boring.

THE DRAGONS WON!  CELEBRATE!

Jose Lopez pitches tomorrow at 7:00 PM EST.
