Alfredo Simon vs. Francisco Liriano

The Cincinnati Reds were unable to turn another solid outing from Dan Straily into a win last night, as he was out-dueled by Juan Nicasio of the Pirates in a 4-1 loss. Tonight, the Reds send Alfredo Simon to the hill to face Pittsburgh, who he had his best outing of the season against earlier in the month. The Pirates will counter with Francisco Liriano, who went 5 innings against the Reds earlier in the month, giving up 3 runs. The Reds go into this game losers of 5 in a row and 8 of their last 9, so hopefully can turn things around this evening.

Let's go Reds! They're our favorite team!
