Dan Straily vs. Juan Nicasio

The Cincinnati Reds look to right the ship against the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. As you well know, the Reds have been scuffling as of late, getting swept by the Mets and losing 6 of their last 7. Things went well the last time we faced the Pirates, taking 2 of 3 in the first weekend of the season.

Tonight, Dan Straily looks to set things straight for the Reds as he faces off against Juan Nicasio. Straily, who was signed a week before the season kicked off, has pitched well for the Reds this month. So far, he has a 3.50 ERA and has done well getting guys out, sporting a .148 opponent batting average. He faces off against Juan Nicasio. Nicasio has a 4.50 ERA with 11 walks and 21 strikeouts in 4 starts this season. This will be the first time the Reds have faced Nicasio this season, so hopefully we get to him early.

Let's go Reds! They're our favorite team!
