Reds throwing more bullpen options at the wall, call up JC Ramirez, DFA Tim Melville

The Reds made a quick move today, bringing JC Ramirez up from Louisville to help bolster a tired bullpen.

The Reds have selected from Class AAA Louisville the contract of RHP JC Ramirez (#66) and designated for assignment RHP Tim Melville.

Ramirez has pitched in 5 games for the Bats this year, and has yet to give up a run. To clear the spot, the team DFA'd Tim Melville, who's probably pretty tired anyway.

Also of note, Keyvius Sampson cleared waivers and is on his way to Louisville.
