Indianapolis Indians 5, Louisville Bats 6

The story of the night: Homer Bailey made his first rehab start off his Tommy John Surgery and, friends and family, he shut down fools. He sat mid-90s on his fastball, touched 97 mph and oh man can he start for the Reds tomorrow? All told, Homer was yanked in the 4th, bringing his final line to 3.2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K. Welcome back, Homey. Other pitchers of note: Dayan Diaz gave up a hit and a walk, Ryan Mattheus blew the save, Jumbo appeared and struck out the side and Chad "Shark" Rodgers gave up nothing in long relief.

To celebrate the occasion, the Bats went ahead and walked it off against Indy. Jose Peraza had a hit, a walk and scored 2 runs. Uncle Jesse Winker had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Juan "Oh yeah, He's still here" Perez went 3-3 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Kyle "Tear Down This" Waldrop didn't record a hit, but his sacrifice in extras scored the winning run.

Up Next: Johnny Lamb will make his first rehab start of the young season in Louisville at 7:05pm EDT.

Pensacola Blue Wahoos 0, Biloxi Shuckers 1

Rookie "Of The Year" Davis got the start in this one, and was straight fire. Davis went 7 innings with 4 hits and only 1 ER with 5 strikeouts and no walks. Alehandro Chacin pitched an inning allowing nothing with a strikeout. The offense, of course, did nothing. Alex "The Great" Blandino had a double, Beau Amaral had another hit, Ray Chang and Zach Vincej pitched in a hit apiece, but, overall, womp womp.

Up Next: Daniel Wright will spin it against the Jackson Generals at 7:30pm EDT.

Daytona Tortugas 0, Clearwater Threshers 1

Tejay Antone got the start and was pr'good, going 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER (1 unearned), with only 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Nick Howard walked 2 but gave up nothing in his inning of work, while Jeremy Herget "Outta Here" allowed a hit and struck one out in his inning. The offense did nothing, though, as Ty "Leonard" Washington, Taylor "Miss New Booty" Sparks, and Garrett Boulware were the only Tortugas to muster hits. Welp.

Up Next: "His Name Was" Jake Paulson will throw against the Tampa Yankees at 7:00pm EDT.

Dayton Dragons 5, West Michigan White Caps 6

So, Dayton hung 5 on West Michigan in the first quarter, but, well... they're Dayton, and the Dragons haven't won a lot in this young season. Ty "Red Puffy" Boyles was not good thereafter, allowing 6 earned on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. "The Little Mermaid" Ariel Hernandez relieved for 3 IP, allowing only a hit, while Jeremy Kivel "and Bits" pitched the final frame, striking out the side. On the offensive side, Brantley "Hells" Bell went 2-4 with 2 RBI, Jose "THAT'S NOT WHAT I FUCKING SAID" Siri had 3 hits and an RBI, and James Vasquez chipped in 2 hits and a double.

Up Next: Tanner Rainey will go for the Dragons in West Michigan at 6:35pm EDT.
