Toledo Mud Hens 2, Louisville Bats 0

The Bats couldn't manage a run off the Mud Hens in this one, falling 2-0. Robert "Bob Steve" Stephenson went 6 IP with only 1 ER (1 unearned), 4 hits, 7 strikeouts with only 1 walk. That will certainly do. Layne "Gimme A Little" Somsen gave up nothing in 2 innings with 3 strikeouts, and Dayan "Jumbinho" Diaz pitched a scoreless frame with a strikeout. Uncle Jesse Winker dinked a couple of singles, Steve "I'm Too" Selsky hit one, while Brandon Allen and Ramon Cabrera chipped in a hit a piece in the loss.

Louisville will be back in action tonight against the Mud Hens. TBA will toss at 7:05 EDT.

Jacksonville Suns 1, Pensacola Blue Wahoos 4

The Blue Wahoos saved the organization from the sweep, winning 4-1. Sal "Everybody Loves" Romano pitched a masterful 5 innings, scattering only 3 hits, allowing 1 run on 7 Ks. "Double" Barrett Astin struck out 2 in his inning, Wandy Peralta struck out 2 in his 2 innings, and "Don't Call My Name" Alejandro Chacin struck out 1 in his inning. The Wahoos won off of Zach "Something J" Vincej 2 RBI along with Joe Hudson's and Ray Chang's RBI a piece. Donald "Walkwurst" Lutz walked twice, but otherwise the real Reds prospects in Pensacola came up empty.

General Jackson Stephens will toss against the Suns at 7:30pm EDT.

Daytona Tortugas 0, Palm Beach Dirty Birds 1

The Dragonas were also blanked on this evening. Keury "Yella" Mella got the start and went 5.2 IP, giving up 8 hits but only 1 earned run and 1 walk while striking out 4. Evan Mitchell "Is Batman" cleaned up the the final 2.1 IP allowing nothing but a hit, walking 1 and striking out 2. Blake "Blame It On The" Butler had a good night, going 3-4. Angelo Gumbs (is his names seriously Angelo Gumbs?) chipped in 2 hits and a walk, and Aristides "Heiress Titties" Aquino hit a double.

Daytona will face off against the Fort Myers Miracle at 7:05pm EDT. TBA will pull some serious double duty.

West Michigan White Caps 9, Dayton Dragons 1

The Dragons were punked in this one, dropping their season record to 1-7. Jose Lopez got roughed up, allowing 6 ER on 7 hits while striking out 4. James Vasquez was 2-4 with a triple, Shane Mardirosian was 2-4 with a triple and shit how did they only score 1 run? Tyler "Ty Steve" Stephenson was 0-3 with a walk.
