Louisville Bats 5, Columbus Clippers 4

Cody Reed finally got to pitch which is totally cool.  Though, I bet he was a bit rusty.  Reed pitched 4.2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs.  He also gave up 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6.  Drew Hayes picked up the save by pitching 1.2 scoreless innings.  Kyle Waldrop hit a solo dinger.  Jose Peraza hit 3 for 4 with a RBI.  Jesse Winker was 1 for 3 with a walk.

Louisville Bat 6, Columbus Clippers 1

Hey, you guys remember Josh "Boring Name" Smith?  He pitched for the Reds a couple of times last year.  He got the start for the Bats and threw 5 innings of zero earned run baseball.  He would allow 4 hits,  2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Steve "You'll Find Me At" Delabar and JC "Penny's" Ramirez both pitched scoreless innings.  Steve "So" Selsky was 3 for 4 with a RBI.  Jose "Pizza" Peraza also went 1 for 3 and a walk, and Kyle "Balldrop" Waldrop had no hits and a walk.  I know that's not super important, but Farmers Only is really about #ProspectWatch.

Pensacola 1, Jacksonville 2

Pensacola lost the game but that has nothing to do with Amir "Cat" Garrett. Garrett continued to solidify his rankings as a top prospect by pitching 6 scoreless innings.  He allowed 4 hits, walked a single batter, and struck out 7 Jacksonville Suns.  Go get it, young man.  That's awesome.  Carlos "Cargo Fast" Gonzalez with two scoreless innings of relief with three strikeouts and a walk.  Kyle McMyne blew the save in the ninth, allowing 2 runs.  Wah.  Brandon "Mason" Dixon and Joe "Sir Henry" Hudson both had two hit games.  Hudson contributed a double and walked with those two hits.

Daytona 1, Palm Beach 2

Isn't sweet when someone emulates their bigger brother? No.  My brother used to do that all the time, and it was super annoying.  Losing is also super annoying.  Stop trying to be Pensacola, Daytona.  Tyler "Darth" Mahle shook off a substandard first start by pitching 5.2 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, and 2 K kinda game.  I'd like to see a separation in the BB and K department, but that'll do, pig.  Avain "Make It Rain" Rachal was 3 for 4, and Brian "O'Baby" O'Grady was 2 for 4.  That's about it.  Simple game.

Dayton 6, Lansing 11

Dayton really pulled a Kevin Gregg in this one by giving up 7 runs in the bottom of the 7th after they scored all 6 of their runs in the top of the same inning.  Idiots.  Jacob Constante "Late" pitched pretty well (5 IP, 3 R, 0 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K).  Jake Johnson was the one that ruined everyone's night.  Sarkis "BR" Ohanian pitched a third of an inning and I'm only bringing him up because his name is freaking delicious.  Narciso "Crick" Crook hit a solo dinger and Shedric Long hit a two run double.
