Tim Melville v. Jeff Locke

After a solid win last night, the Redlegs will try to take the series and the division lead against the Pirates this afternoon.

This game will be the first MLB start for Tim Melville, who has been waiting for his chance since 2009. He is taking this start from injured starter Anthony Desclafani, whom is still recovering from his oblique injury. Melville's family will be in attendance, and we are all hoping for a great debut for him.

Jeff Locke will be making his first start of the season today, along with his first career start against the Reds.

The Reds have an opportunity to be in first place at the end of the first week of the season, and that's pretty cool if you ask me.

Go Reds! They're my favorite team!
