This could be all for the Dodgers. After shutting the Cubs down for 21 straight innings over games 2 and 3, Dodgers pitching has failed it as Chicago has won big in the last two. Doing so put the Cubs on the cusp of the World Series for the first time since 1945.
Luckily for the Dodgers, they have the best pitcher on the planet on the mound for them tonight. Clayton Kershaw shut the Cubs down in game 2, to the tune 7 scoreless, 2 hit innings.
The Cubs will have their surprise ace opposite of Kershaw. Kyle Hendricks allowed the only run in the game over 5.1 innings. Which is actually pretty good! Unfortunately for the Cubs, he got Kershaw’d and Jansen’d.
Should be a fun one tonight at a raucous Wrigley Field. God bless that place if the Cubs actually close it out.
Speaking of which, anyone seen this guy?
