Farmers Only: Daytona Played, That's A Thing

The ark project has been abandoned.

Louisville 3, Toledo 4

Not much surprise here as Louisville is ending its season in a tail spin.  Josh Smith started, but may have been limited (4 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 K).  Layne "Dwayne" Somsen and Joel "Fender" Bender had scoreless appearances out of the pen. Irving "Moo Moo" Falu, Hernan "The Destroyer" Iribarren, and Chad "Donald" Tromp had 2 for 4 nights.

The Bats play tonight Brandon Finnegan on the mound at 7:05 PM EST.

Pensacola 0, Mobile 3

Daniel "Do" Wright is doing his best to finish the season strong (5 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 6 K). Wandy Peralta and Stephen "Jack" Johnson both had scoreless appearances out of the bullpen.  Juan "Duran" Duran was 2 for 4 on the night.

Sloppy Sal Romano pitches tonight at 6:35 PM CT.

Daytona 6, Brevard County 4

The Tortugas actually got to play baseball, which is like woah. Naughty Nick Travieso continues to shine to end the year (6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K).  He will finish the season with a sub 3 ERA, which is just freaking amazeballs.  Nolan "Decker" Becker and Evan Mitchell Is Batman both pitched a scoreless inning. Tyler "Shooting" Sparks was 3 for 4 with a solo dinger. Sebastian "Seabass Lizard" Elizalde was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI.

Gross.  Ty "Inflamed" Boyles only lasted 0.2 innings and gave up 7 earned runs.  Tyler Parmenter pitched 4 scoreless innings, but he did walk 4 batters.  Shedric "Dong" Long was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a double, solo wanger, and a walk.  Paul Kronenfeld hit a 2 run dingle dangle.

Tyler Mahle pitches tonight at 7:35 PM EST.

Billings 8, Helena 7

Tanner "Mount" Rainey didn't pitch very well (4 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K).  It was a night of 3's for him.  Jake "Nick Miller" Johnson and Jimmy "Sherbert" Herget pitched scoreless innings and struck guys out.  Offensively, Tyler Stephenson was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored.  I'm just pointing that out because he's a first round pick.  However, the 'Stangs piled up 16 hits.  Check out the box score for the rest.  I'm done.
