Only two full games of action last night.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Louisville got wiped out by the Norfolk Tides, losing 3-2.  John Lamb had a quality start in his second Bats appearance, tossing 6 innings of 1-run ball with 4 hits, 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.  Brennan Boesch had a nice game, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI.  Hernan "Cortez the Killer" Iribarren had a not so nice game, going 0-4 with a strikeout and 2 errors.  Brandon "Tim" Finnegan takes the hill for the Bats tonight at 7:05.

Penscaola got in just two innings before the game got suspended due to rain.  They'll play a double header today.

Daytona, Dayton, and Billings all had the night off.  They'll all three get back at it tonight.

Arizona lost a 12 inning affair to the Padres, falling 8-7.  Manuel Aybar got rocked, giving up 4 earned runs on 2 dingers, 3 hits, and 2 walks before getting the hook before the second inning started.  Wendolyn Bautista fared a bit better, giving up a pair of runs over 4 innings, striking out 5 and walking none.  James Vasquez had a monster game, going 2-4 with 2 wangers and 2 walks.  Miles Gordon legged out a couple triples, going 2-5 with 2 runs scored, an RBI, and a walk.  The AZL Reds face off against the Baby Brewers tonight at 10:00.
