Louisville Bats
Wednesday, the Bats had the night off.
Louisville put forth a valiant effort, scoring 4 runs in the 9th inning, but came out one run short. Brandon "Finny" Finnegan wasn't exactly fooling anyone (4 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K). Miguel "Star Gazer" Celestino pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, and Jose De La "DI Freaking Da" Torre pitched 1 scoreless inning. Kyle Waldrop whopped a 3 run Waldinger and that's basically it. A real rally killer that one.
Michelangelo Lorenzen will be on the mound tonight at 7:05 PM EST.
Pensacola Blue Wahoos
Uh, Sal Romano got beat like he stole something (5 ER in 0.2 innings). Joel "Drunk Bot" Bender pitched 4 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. Alex Blandino was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. Holy Christ, I need to clean myself after reading this poop box score.
This one I do wanna read because winning is so freaking sweet. Timothy "Hop On The Saddle" Adleman pitched a very nice game (7.1 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 K). Zack Weiss continued his dominance of minor league baseball with 1.2 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts. He picked up his 22nd save. Kyle Skipworth was 2 for 3 with a RBI.

Daytona Tortugas
This was a makeup game from June. Seth Varner put up a good game (5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K). El'Hajjy Muhammad and Alejandro "Save" Chacin both pitched scoreless innings. Chacin struck out the side. Junior Felix Arias hit a solo wanger on 2 for 3 night with 2 runs scored. Chad "Walla Walla" Wallach was 2 for 3.
Another good game for the Tortugulars. Keury "Curry Mayo" Mella continues to struggle with control (5.1 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 7 K). Carlos Gonzalez and Evan Mitchell is Batman both pitched 1.2 IP of scoreless ball. Daniel "Grab Your Bib And" Pigott was 2 for 5 with a solo wanger and 2 RBI. Ronald "Muy" Bueno and Junior Felix "Kitty" Arias both had 3 hits on the day. Bueno had 2 RBI. Brian "Beef" O'Grady hit a solo wanger on a 2 for 3 day with a walk. He also had 2 RBI.

Dayton Dragons
Tyler "Poppin'" Mahle wasn't as efficient as usual. He pitched 4 innings and gave up 6 hits, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K. The bullpen was shitty. Gavin "Deep In" LaValley was 2 for 4 with a run scored and Jimmy "Slim" Pickens was 2 for 4 with a double and a RBI.
Wyatt "Earp" Strahan pitched a swell game (6.2 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K). Jacob "Do I Smell" Ehret pitched a scoreless 1.1 innings, and Jeremy Kivel chipped in with a scoreless inning of his own. Look out folks, Gavin LaValley is putting up some good numbers lately. In this game he went 4 for 5 with a run scored 3 RBI, and a walk. Luis "MVP" Gonzalez was 3 for 6 with a double and 3 RBI.

Ty "Poppin" Boyles didn't have his best stuff (5 IP, 8 H, 7 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, and 3 K). Junior Joselin Arias pitched 2.2 scoreless innings of relief. Ed "Helms" Charlton, Hector Vargas, and Mitch "Choppin'" Trees all had multi-hit games.
Billings 3, Idaho Falls 0 Bottom of the 8th.
