Louisville 4, Durham 2

Louisville won a game with a little offense which is pretty cool.  Tony "Spaghetti" Cingrani started for the Bats and looks to restart his campaign back to the starting rotation.  He pitched 2 scoreless innings giving up a hit, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Josh "Boring Name" Smith continued with 4 innings of 1 run ball.  Drew "Oh, Be" Hayes and Collin "Brewster" Balester pitched scoreless innings out of the pen.  Hernan "Dez" Iribarren was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI.

Louisville has the night off.

Pensacola 8, Chatt 4

Lookout for the Wahoos as they beat Chattanooga Monday evening.  Daniel "Did" Wright pitched well (6.1 IP, 4 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 7 K).  Well, he did if you're just looking at walk and strikeout ratios.  Zack "Wise" Weiss continued his dismantling of the Southern League with 1.1 scoreless innings.  He struck out 2.  Pensacola scored 8 runs all without the help of Jesse Winker who had the night off.  Beau "F Me Like An" Amaral was 2 for 3 with a 2 run ding dong and a walk.

Daytona 1, Brevard County 5

Losing sucks and Daytona did that last night when Brevard County put up 5 runs in the first 2 innings.  Nick Routt is a horrible name for a pitcher, and he gave up all 5 runs (4 earned) in 1.1 innings.  Scott "Brat Pack" Brattvet pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, and Evan Mitchell Is Batman pitched 2 scoreless with 2 K. Caarlton Daal was 2 for 3 with a walk.  Uncle Phi Ervin also contributed with a double and 2 walks.

Daytona plays double the ballgames tomorrow with Garrett and Varner on the mound.

Dayton 2, South Bend 7

Ugh, this game was bad, too.  Ugh.  Blech.  Junior "Mint" Morillo didn't fare well against the Cubs (5 IP, 9 H, 7 ER, 1 BB, 1 K).  Joe "Stuffed" Mantoni pitched 2 scoreless innings and Brennan Bernardino pitched in with a scoreless inning.  Aristides "Horseshit" Aquino was 2 for 4 with a solo wanger.  Gavin "Red River" LaValley was 2 for 4, as well.

Billings 3, Idaho Falls 1

Billings beat the Chukars, which I don't believe is a real thing.  Tanner "It's So" Rainey pitched well (5.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 4 K).  Though, he was wild, obviously.  Sarkis "Brohanian" Ohanian pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts.  Jimmy "Neutron" Herget also struck out 2 in 1 scoreless inning of relief.  Kevin Franklin was 2 for 5 with a double and a RBI.  He's pushed his average to .264 on the season, which is a big improvement over past seasons.  Blake "Mayhem" Trahan was 2 for 3 with 2 walks.

Baby Reds 3, Baby Cubs 5

Reds lost. Bernardo "Moriarty" Moreta started and gave up an earned run in 1.1 innings.  Adrian "Gonzalez" Rodriguez was the pitcher of note in the game.  He pitched 5 innings and gave up 6 hits, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K.  Blake Butler had a double and a walk, and I guess that's really the best of the offensive players.  Lame.  They should get a Jesse Winker type player.

The Baby Reds play tonight at whatever time they play baseball in Arizona.
