Farmers Only: Bob Steve Has A Boo Boo.

Put a band aid on it, rub some dirt on it to look tough, and get back on that mound!

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Louisville 0, Columbus 2

Louisville lost, but that really isn't the story.  As I'm sure you have heard, Robert Stephenson was taken out of the game with an injury.  As of right now, I haven't heard anything about the severity of the injury.  So, keep your fingers crossed for good news.  Stephenson pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs on 1 hit, 4 BB, and 1 strikeout.  By the looks of the numbers, something may have been wrong from the beginning.  Donovan "Mister" Hand pitched three scoreless innings to pick up the pieces, and Miguel Celestino, Yosemite Sam LeCure, and Jose De La "Dee Freaking Da" Torre all had scoreless appearances.  However, the damage was done because the Bats could not score any runs.

Louisville plays tonight at 7:05 PM EST with Josh Smith on the mound.

Pensacola 1, Biloxi 4

Pensacola didn't play well, and scored their only run in the 9th.  This will probably be a boring read.  Daniel "Can't Be" Wright hasn't had the best season and this start shows that (3.2 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 5 K).  Wandy "Vandy" Peralta pitched 3.1 scoreless innings and Kyle McMyne also threw a scoreless inning.  The only run was scored on a Jesse Winker WinkerWanger and he was 2 for 4.

Sloppy Sal Romano starts tonight at 6:40 PM CST.

Daytona 10, Dunedin 3

Daytona did their organization proud with their drubbing of the Dunedin Blue Jays.  General Jackson Stephens didn't have an overly impressive line but did pitch 6 scoreless innings (2 H, 2 BB, 2 K).  Scott Brattvet did pitch a scoreless inning of relief, and that's important because he was the only reliever to do so.  Taylor "Shake It Off" Sparks continued his hot hitting with a 3 for 4 night.  He hit a 2 run ding dong and had a double with 3 RBI total and a walk.  Carlton Daal was also 3 for 5 with a RBI.  Wendell Soto was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and a walk.  Lots of other people had hits.

Nick Routt will pitch tonight at 7:05 PM EST.

Dayton 0, Peoria 7

Boo freaking hoo.  Oh, boo you, Dayton.  Getting shutout and stuff.  Junior Morillo also gave up a butt load of runs (3 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 1 BB, 0 K).  Ty Sterner, Conor "Santa" Krauss, and Jeremy "Hot Rod" Kivel all had scoreless appearances.  In terms of appearance they pitched 3, 2, and 1 inning(s).  Shedric "Bedric" Long, Gavin "Deep In" LaValley, and Paul "Nickname" Kronenfeld all had 2 hit games.

Tyler Mahle starts tonight at 7:00 PM EST.

Billings 6, Idaho Falls 3

Billings decided to munch on some winner winner chicken dinners led by Tanner "Mount" Rainey's solid start (4.2 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K).  Jimmy "Buffet" Herget pitched a scoreless inning.  Kevin "Benjamin" Franklin hit a solo wanger.  Four other players had multi-hit games.  Click the box score to find out who was awesome!

Billings has Thursday off.

The Baby Reds did not play because they hate you.
