Pensacola gave up a 5 spot in the first and was unable to recover. As good as Cody Reed's last start was, he was awful last night. Reed pitched 2.2 innings giving up 4 hits, 6 earned runs, 5 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Hang with 'em, kid. Joel "Fender" Bender and Kyle "Those McNugs Are" McMyne had scoreless appearances out of the pen. Sean Buckley was 2 for 5 with a solo wanger. Alexander "The Great" Blandino and Marquez "Old Man" Smith were 1 for 3 with 2 free passes.

Keury "Curry Mayo" Mella started off the game hot but didn't finish well. He pitched 3 scoreless innings, but the 4th was his undoing (4 IP, 2 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 6 K). Nolan "Ted Danson Is" Becker and Carlos "CARGO" Gonzalez both had scoreless appearances. Joe Hudson was responsible for the Tortuga's two runs with a 2 run knockwurst in the 3rd inning.
Naughty Nick Travieso will be on the bump tonight at 6:30 PM EST.

The Mustangs handled the Chukars quite easily last night. Jose "JLO" Lopez pitched very well (5 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 K). Austin Orewiler and Juan Martinez both had scoreless appearances out of the pen. Tyler "Kennesaw Mountain" Stephenson, Brantley "Ring My" Bell, Reydel "Rotel" Medina, and Jonathan "Soft J" Martijn were all 2 for 4. Medina also had a triple.
Billings will play Idaho Falls tonight at 7:05 PM MT. Franderlyn Romero start things off.
AZL Reds 1, AZL Brewers 5... Maybe.
At the point of, writing this the Brewers were beating the Reds 5-1. I think. I was waiting for the box score to change, but it was frozen in the 7th inning for an hour. The Arizona Rookie League can be really frustrating sometimes. Anyhoo, the Reds committed 6 errors. Manuel "Jr." Aybar started the game and pitched well ( 3 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K). Miguel "Agua" Aguilar and Connor Bennett had scoreless appearances out of the pen. Jon Matthews contributed to the only run with a RBI single, and he had a walk. Everyone else should be ashamed because of the 6 errors.
